Saint Therese@ The Little Flower

I bet everyone of us already know her. Of course you all know her. But I still want to write about her today.

She described her life as a "little way of spiritual childhood." She lived each day with an unshakable confidence in God's love. "What matters in life," she wrote, "is not great deeds, but great love." Therese lived and taught a spirituality of attending to everyone and everything well and with love. She believed that just as a child becomes enamored with what is before her, we should also have a childlike focus and totally attentive love. Therese's spirituality is of doing the ordinary, with extraordinary love.

Therese saw the seasons as reflecting the seasons of God's love affair with us.  She loved flowers and saw herself as the "little flower of Jesus," who gave glory to God by just being her beautiful little self among all the other flowers in God's garden. Because of this beautiful analogy, the title "little flower" remained with St. Therese.

"My mission - to make God loved - will begin after my death," she said. "I will spend my heaven doing good on earth. I will let fall a shower of roses."

True enough. If you have tried her novena, you will felt something. Me, myself, is not a religious catholic, but there are times when things were unbearable, you will tried to pray. St. Therese had shower her roses in me. It's really hard to describe here, but once you experience it, you'll knew it. When your prayer still haven't been answer, but still you have strength in your heart, the hope that keep you going. I even start to appreciate every single thing around me. Thanks St. Therese for showering me with your roses.

Random Thought

Remember!
Smooth roads never make good drivers!
Smooth sea never makes good sailors!
Clear skies never make good pilots!
Problem and hassle free life NEVER makes a strong person!!!
Be STRONG to accept and face the challenge!!!

Hmm.True enough..But sometimes, when the burdens are too heavy and I felt like I cannot carry the burden and I really want to give up. During that hard time, seems like I often forgot on how to be strong.

Weird enough but still I managed to let the problem pass either it is being solved or not. Sometimes, I'm just having too much problems until I become sick of it.

Now, I miss my family so much and also my little Micky. How I wish to be home today. It's an Ash Wednesday and I bet my family already at the church right now, attending the mass while I'm sitting here and do my stuff. Why? Who wants to riding on a bus alone in the middle of the night?
~Have a blessed Ash Wednesday~

What Are Words

I cried when I first heard this song. The words seriously, stab me, deep inside my heart. Their love was so pure...

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I'll be there
Anytime you whisper my name, you'll see
How every single promise I keep
Cuz what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

What are words
If you really don't mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they're only for good times
Then they don't
When it's love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we're gone

And I know an angel was sent just for me
And I know I'm meant to be where I am
And I'm gonna be
Standing right beside her tonight

And I'm gonna be by your side
I would never leave when she needs me most

What are words
If you really don't mean them
When you say them
What are words
If they're only for good times
Then they don't
When it's love
Yeah, you say them out loud
Those words, They never go away
They live on, even when we're gone

Anywhere you are, I am near
Anywhere you go, I'll be there
And I'm gonna be here forever more
Every single promise I keep
Cuz what kind of guy would I be
If I was to leave when you need me most

I'm forever keeping my angel close

Everyday is a brand new day...

06/03/2011

I've been thinking a lot this week about every thing's ...about my family, my future, my friends but mostly about money...Been through a lot this past 2 weeks. There are times when I just felt like giving up but when I think deeply, I am not that kind of persons..plus..I've been through a lots for the past 22 years so I just need to learn to be S.T.R.O.N.G..How? For me, I think what's keep me going is through prayers..and also from the support from my family and friends. That's it. I seriously refuse to let anything negative effect me! So, be P.O.S.I.T.I.V.E!!

Now, it's been 9 weeks since my 3rd Semesters had start. So, I only have 7 weeks before my semester come to an end. Yay..I'm counting my days to go back home.

Oh, my!Time flies..Maybe this hectic life's makes me didn't realize how fast time flies..At times, I wished that time flies..It did..And now, March has come..Means that I only had limited time to do my revisions for my final exams on April. NOOOOO!!

For this month, I will be having 6 presentations for all my subjects AND also 6 assignments to be pass up....I hope that I can make it...For my final exams, I think I need to manage my time well so that I can do revisions while facing this H.E.C.T.I.C MONTH..

p/s Peeps, I advise you to drink lotsa water . This 'too hot' weather really- really bad. As a result, I'm having a flu, fever, sore throat and I think if I continue to drink little water in this hot weather, tonsillitis would say hi to me....urghh..

Life's LikeThat

"Life Is Wonderful"

It takes a crane to build a crane
It takes two floors to make a story
It takes an egg to make a hen
It takes a hen to make an egg
There is no end to what I'm saying

It takes a thought to make a word
And it takes some words to make an action
It takes some work to make it work
It takes some good to make it hurt
It takes some bad for satisfaction

La la la la la la la life is wonderful
Ah la la la la la la life goes full circle
Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful
Al la la la la

It takes a night to make it dawn
And it takes a day to make you yawn brother
And it takes some old to make you young
It takes some cold to know the sun
It takes the one to have the other

And it takes no time to fall in love
But it takes you years to know what love is
It takes some fears to make you trust
It takes those tears to make it rust
It takes the dust to have it polished

Ha la la la la la la life is wonderful
Ah la la la la la la life goes full circle
Ah la la la la la la life is so full of
Ah la la la la la la life is so rough
Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful
Ah la la la la la la life goes full circle
Ah la la la la la la life is our love
Ah la la la la la

It takes some silence to make sound
It takes a loss before you found it
And it takes a road to go nowhere
It takes a toll to make you care
It takes a hole to make a mountain

Ah la la la la la la life is wonderful
Ah la la la la la la life goes full circle
Ha la la la la la life is wonderful
Ha la la la la la life is meaningful
Ha la la la la la life is wonderful
Ha la la la la la life it is...so... wonderful
It is so meaningful
It is so wonderful
It is meaningful
It is wonderful
It is meaningful
It goes full circle
Wonderful
Meaningful
Full circle
Wonderful

Life Is Not Fair!

What would you feel when your family owned a first car?

Happy, excited, speechless and many mixed of feelings right? My family and I had faced this situation but it was 15 years ago but we still feel the same. The feelings about our only and first car never changed. We still proud of it even though others ask us to changed it to a new one, the one that have the modern touched. But, it will never change our mind. We’ve feels really grateful to have this car that has been our true companion for the past 15 years and it has been a part of our life for so long.

It was the old model Toyota Trooper and after some modification, it becomes 3 rows from only 2 rows in the beginning so that it will fit our 7 family members in the family. This car has been taken us on holidays, to visit friends and family, to and from school or work. We loved it so much and lavished a lot of time, energy and money on it.

It was bought when I am still 7 years old while both of my parents still working and our family is financially stable. But as we grow up, and my dad has retired from his job, leaving my mum to support our family, then money becomes the issue.

Now, at 22 years old and currently studying at the international college while my other siblings was also still in the tertiary level at universities and college, suddenly the income becomes not enough and the debts was high. We needed money.

Yesterday, my parents called me and told me that they are going to sell our car to cover up all of our living expenses, to pay our education fees. I never thought our financial will be this bad until my parents need to sell our only car. But they said, they need to in the name of education, they will sacrifice anything and ask my siblings and me to study hard and graduated. That’s all they want. They said we can buy a new one if all of us will get a job later. But I knew how newer, faster or shinier the new car is; none can bet the first set of wheels for the memories.

I cried and cried. I never thought that to have a good education, this is the price that we should pay even if it means to let go the most meaningful things in your life. Our first and only car that we had ever owned is leaving and it feels like we have lost a member of our family. I feel very sentimental about this car and I knew my family feels the same too because my parents were crying when they broke this news to me. I think we have a very solid attachment to it.

What hurts the most is when I imagining my old parents rushing and riding on the bus. It breaks my heart. I’m sorry mum and dad for burdening both of you; even though I knew you wouldn’t mind. I will study hard, graduate and find a stable job to support our family back. This is my promise.

I’m glad that even though we didn’t have much money, we still have much love, the love that is boundless and strong. That’s what matter the most.

Never give up, for that is just the place and time that the tide will turn....

When Life Gets Hard

Today my Pengajian Moral class canceled because the lecturer was sick. Yes, for other people this might be the happiest day but not for me. I'm still struggling over tonnes of assignments and group presentations. As a group leader for 2 group this semester, with 7 different members, 7 different languages makes me looks like a fool. When I'm talking they seems like ignoring me and when they're talking I don't even understand what they're talking about. With the lecturer who always put the PRESSURE on the group leader shoulder some more.*sigh*

I found out that I'm not the type which can stand on pressure. I felt lost when I'm pressured. I'm afraid to face it. I tried to avoid from taking any responsible on the work. But, it is a very selfish action. At last, I took up the responsibility and I got the pressure on me. Even though now I'm not the one who is facing it, but I still very care on it. Because I'm the one who passed the unsolved problem to the another person although I'm not the one who start it. I'm involved somehow.

I hope all these pressure can get over soon and of course with the problems being solved but not because I'm used to it.

p/s Purse is bleeding badly
